Lisa Powell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 18, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on July 8, 1968, to Joshua and Angela Wilder.
Lisa married the love of her life, Miguel Powell, in 2008. Together they raised two wonderful children, Manny Powell and Jamie Ramirez, with Jamie's spouse Angle Ramirez. Lisa was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren.
Lisa attended Crenshaw High School, graduating in 1982. She continued her education at USC, where she received her degree in 1999. After graduation, Lisa pursued a career as a nurse, eventually retiring in 2010.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa had many passions and hobbies. She enjoyed singing, writing poetry, dancing, and participating in sports. Her vibrant spirit and zest for life were contagious, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Tragically, Lisa's life was cut short by a sudden heart attack. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Although she is no longer with us, Lisa's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Lisa.
