Linwood Hardy, 78, of Weldon, North Carolina, He departed away ECU Health in Greenville N.C. on November 23, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1947, in Gumberry NC to the parnents of Atlee Parker and James Linwood Hardy.was Linwood accept Jesus Christ as his lord and Savior and a became a beloved member of the Faithful Band Bapital Church,known for his kind heart and infectious smile. He had a passion for his family , always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He enjoy sitting around Hardees and family Fare and playing lottery and visiting friends and spending time with love one. Who he loved dearly and his son Travis Hopson He cherished the times he spend with his two grand daugthers Keshaunte and Kaniyae Arrington. Linwood served years in the military. With the many people will remember him as Junepie or Leon. He was always have ways to make people smile untill his heart started to fail. His memories will forever be cherished by his sisters Hazel Hardy and the late Dorothy Elloit, and his one brother the late David Lee Hardy.Linwood had 5 children who he love dearly Tonia Hardy, Lin Hardy,Lydell Hardy, the Late Eugenia Hardy and Travis Hopson. Linwood had 17 Grandchildren and many more.Linwood was married to Vantina Hardy. He will forever cherished by his girlfriend later Barbara Jean Hopson, and his beloved friend Phyllis Mcgee. He love his grandchildren as well as Uzzrih Megee who stayed with him in his home. He was always will cherish memories with his daugther- in law Kiara Hospson, and his grandchild Kyjari.
