Linda Lou Mitchell, 65, a resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19th 2017 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces, NM. Linda was born on May 1st 1951 in Deming, New Mexico to Cecil McClung and Edna Hawkinson. She is survived by her mother, Edna McClung of New Burn, N.C; her son, Raymond A. Mitchell and his wife Monica Rosson-Mitchell of Salem OR; two daughters, Merrie Kae Mitchell of Mesa, AZ and Melodie Reid and her husband Kevin of Portland, OR; two brothers, Buck McClung and his wife Rhonda of Cedar Rapids, IA and Eddie McClung and his wife Tina of Springfield, IL; three sisters, Ruby Scheer and her husband Jim of New Burn, N.C; Irene McClung of West Memphis, AR and Sally McClung of West Memphis, AR; two grandchildren, Marissa and Eric Donaldson. Linda was preceded in death by her father and her loving husband of 44years, Raymond Dwight Mitchell. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 27th from 10am-11am and service to follow at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop, Jason Nichols officiating.
