Linda Henderson, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and guiding light, passed away peacefully on 8/03/2025 at the age of 75, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born in Bakersfield California on 5/05/1950, Linda lived a life filled with purpose and compassion. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued—whether through her warm smile, her generous heart, or the simple wisdom she shared so freely.
Linda was more than just a grandmother—she was the heart of the family. Her home was a place of comfort and calm, where generations gathered for holidays, long talks, and home-cooked meals that became cherished traditions. Her famous mashed potatoes, brought everyone to the table, but it was her presence that truly brought people together.
She faced life’s challenges with quiet courage and unwavering grace. Her strength was not loud, but steady—the kind that held others up when they couldn’t stand on their own. She taught us by example: how to be kind without expecting anything in return, how to forgive, how to endure, and how to love unconditionally.
Linda’s legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren, in the stories we tell, the values she instilled, and the memories that continue to light our lives even in her absence.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on August 9th 2025 at 1pm to celebrate Linda’s remarkable life. All who knew her are welcome to join us in remembering the woman who meant so much to so many.
