Linda J. Dawley-Rose 1950 - 2016 Linda J. Dawley-Rose, 66, of Burlington, Wis., died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at her home following a short illness. The former Linda Jean Dawley was born on March 26, 1950, in Burlington, Wis., the daughter of the late Donald and Ione Agnes Smetana Dawley. On April 26, 2001, in Burlington, Linda was united in marriage to James Eugene Rose. Linda lived in Twin Lakes, Wis., and Colorado before moving back to Wheatland Township in 1993. Linda graduated from Wilmot High School in 1968. She worked in Payroll at VIP Services in Elkhorn for eight years. She enjoyed quilting and doing yardwork. She really loved time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Linda is survived by her husband James; one son Kevin (Lynette) Trongeau of Kansasville, Wis.; one daughter Kristina A. Churchill of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Ashley, Tia, Shelby and Kyle; one great grandchild Janalynn; eight siblings, Barbara (Thomas) Calkins of Twin Lakes, Wis., Bryan (Mary Beth) Dawley of Powers Lake, Wis., Christopher (Donna) Dawley of Wheatland, Wis., Corey (Ann) Dawley of Paddock Lake, Wis., Jon (Angel) Dawley of Burlington, Wis., Mary Rozell of Boulder, Colo., Nanette Wilmot of Wheatland, Wis., and Brenda (Thomas) Rummell of Cheektowaga, N.Y. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Dawley and Timothy Dawley; and her godson C.J. Dawley. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Rumpoles (Wonder Bar) in Twin Lakes. Linda's Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Rumpole's. Private inurnment will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery. Memorial Remembrances may be made to the Dawley-Rose Family at Box 310, Twin Lakes, WI 53181, for a Memorial to be determined at a later date.
