Linda Swafford, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2025 in Austin, Texas at the age of 76.

Born on August 10, 1948 to Billy J Hayes and Helen Louise Hayes, Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her two children, Asher Ford-McCray (spouse Austin McCray) and Temple A Shockley, as well as her nine grandchildren.

Linda attended Poly Tech high school and went on to work in housekeeping for many years before retiring in 2001. In her free time, she enjoyed working on her puzzle books and indulging in some retail therapy.

Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
