Linda Trotter, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was born on June 21, 1951 in Mobile, Alabama to the union of Matthew H. Trotter and Clara Trotter. Linda was the second eldest of 7 children. She is preceded in death by both parents and one brother Matthew Jr., one grandchild Kamaya Trotter and one niece Serena Trotter.
Linda attended public elementary school in Chicago and graduated from Englewood High School. Linda worked many jobs until being employed at Village Green Management, where she dedicated many years of hard work before retiring in 2015. In her free time, Linda loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. As well as indulging in her hobbies of visiting casinos with her sisters, cooking delicious meals and watching her favorite horror movies.
Later in life, Linda met the father (Herman Wilborn) of her two wonderful sons. Linda raised her sons with unconditional love and unwavering support. They were her pride and joy while she took great care in watching them grow up, living in the Rosenwalds on 47th and Michigan, now into loving men. Linda's legacy extends beyond her immediate family to her grandchildren. Linda accepted Christ at an early age and her memories will continue to be remembered and appreciated for a lifetime.
Linda departed this life on Monday June 24, 2024. Linda leaves to cherish her precious memories her two sons:
Michael (Andrea) and Kevin (Natasha); four sisters Kathy (Sylvester), Carolyn, Janice (Bland), Barbara and one brother Johnny (Tammy). Grandchildren Mikalah, Aniyah, Michael Jr, Khalia and Armoni. Bonus grandkids: Joshua, Bryana, Niylah, Amelia, Alonte and two bonus great grandsons Santana and Santiago. And a host of nieces; Nina and Jessica and nephews: Sonny, Lil Johnny, Negal, Chris, Marcus, Tony, Johnathan, Joshua and loving friends Gayle, Lisa and Shay.
Though Linda may be gone, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, contagious laughter, and generous spirit. Rest in peace, Linda Trotter, you will be deeply missed.
