KNIGHTDALE - Linda McCombs Boese, 65, of 3300 Renee Court passed away suddenly at her home on Sept. 30, 2013.

Linda was born on Nov. 7, 1947, in Beaufort County, S.C., to the late Edward Charles McCombs and Doris Humphrey McCombs. She retired as a teachers' assistant with Onslow County Schools and recently worked at Michael's in Knightdale.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

A committal service will take place at noon, Friday, Oct. 4 at Carolina Coastal State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Montford Pt Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Andrew John Boese; sons, John Joseph Caddle IV and wife, Tonya of Burlington, David Edward Caddle and wife, Paige of Houston, Texas, James Lee Boese and wife, Kelly of Cary, Nicholas Charles Boese and wife, Megan of Willow Spring; seven grandchildren; sisters, Doris Milam and husband, Ernie of Jacksonville and Kathy Grady and husband, Keith of Pearland, Texas.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Caddle.
