Linda Arrington, 77, of Houston City, Texas, passed Friday, April 13, 2018. Linda was born to Martin Arrington, and Roberta Jackson, August 07, 1940.

Linda graduated from Marcus Garvey in 1958 and received a degree from Texas State University in 1962. She married Leonard Pope in 1962, and they lived together in Houston City. Linda worked as a school teacher until she retired in 1992. She also volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at New Faith Baptist Church in 1993 to 2008 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Linda is survived by 2 children: Martha Arrington (Christopher Arrington), and Paul Arrington (Megan Arrington).
