AVON LAKE – Linda A. Ransburg (nee McKercher), 64, of Avon Lake, formerly of North Olmsted, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Main Street Care Center after a 3 year battle with cancer. Linda was born on December 5, 1951 in Saline, MI, and attended Bowling Green State University. She worked as a Legal Secretary for 31 years with various firms. Linda enjoyed cooking, shopping, knitting, her pets, and Celtic Thunder. Linda is survived by her brother Michael E. McKercher of Avon Lake; niece Myriah Boles (Brad) of Tyler, TX; nephews Adam McKercher (Kari) of Milford, OH, and Connor McKercher (Megan) of Broadview Heights; and great-nieces and nephews Elyse, Weston, Lilah, and Grant. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Phyllis (nee Lowe) McKercher. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. A graveside burial will be held on Friday, November 4 at 2pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd., Avon. (440)933-3202
