Linda Lou Bland, age 71, of Oronogo, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on December 14, 1953, in Carthage, Missouri, Linda was the daughter of Glennie and Shirley Lynch. She grew up in Carterville, Missouri, and later married the love of her life, Randy Bland.
Linda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She dedicated her life to her family, always making sure they were cared for. She loved laughing with friends and family, and she found joy in crafts and creating things with her hands.
She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Rumble and husband Darrel, Christy Watkins and husband James, and Randi Bland. She was the proud grandmother of Darrel Rumble, Derek Rumble, Chad Wilson, Seth Watkins, Kailey Harrison, Tyler Wilson, Dakota Watkins, and Anthony Cantrell, and a cherished great-grandmother to many. Linda is also survived by her siblings, Chris Lynch, David Lynch, and Tammy Hoffman and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Bland, parents, Glennie and Shirley Lynch, and her sisters, Joan Crabtree, Debbie Stiles, and Brenda Stone.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith and New Hope Church, 20314 Guardian Road, Joplin, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her memory.
Linda’s love, laughter, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
