Lillie Wise was called home on Thursday April 20,2023, to be with our Heavenly Father.She was born January 1944 to Freddie and Josephine Bryant in Lexa, Arkansas; the second oldest of 12 children. she was raised in Lexa, Arkansas where she enjoyed the farming lifestyle. She is preceded in death by her father Freddie Bryant and wife of 37 years Francine Hancock-Bryant and her Husband Edward Wise. At the age of 12,Lillie was baptized in Lexa, Arkansas at Friendship Baptist Church.
Lillie was always a hard worker and family oriented Women. So at the age of 18 she moved to Chicago and began working with Adjustable Forms as a construction worker for 30 years.
Due to her hard work ethics she earned the nick name "Lumber Jack". Her work along speaks great value from the handprint that she leaves not only of her children and grandchildren but the monuments and landscapes of the City of Chicago that she helped build.
See was a respected member of her community. She sat in the window and talked to neighbors. she just like to laugh and joke with everyone.
Anyone that knew her was sure to get a good laugh. One of her famous quotes was "will not pay" meaning if you owed her and did not pay you earned this title.
Lillie leaves to cherish his memories her mother Josephine Bryant, nine children, Brandy (David ) Bland, Marie Hancock, Virginia (Tywon) Stewart, Stephanie Montgomery, Freddell ( Talicia) Bryant, Darncella Montgomery, Tiffany Bryant, Terrance (BreAnne) Bryant and Linda wise all of Chicago, IL.
Nine sisters and two brothers, Cornelia (John) O'Neil , Marie Bryant, Thelma Bryant, Melvin (Sana) Bryant, Lillie Marie Bryant, Cleophus (Lois) Bryant, Ernice Bryant Blann, Bernice (Frederick) Davis, Gwenester Bryant, Arlene (Gerald) Hill, and Colette Bryant.
sixteen (16) grandchildren, Breana , Jasmine, James , Alicia , Tamia, Andrew , Andreia, Lawanda, Tony, Mariah, Ta’Miyah, Zaire , Paul, Michael ,Derrick and Kierre four sister-in-law, one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, cousins, nephews and friends.
