On Friday October 16, 2020 Lillie Moore, a loving Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by several loved ones. Lillie J. Moore was born on November 27, 1938 in Corinth MS; to the Union of Vester Williams and James Boyd. Lillie was brought up in the holiness church and was no stranger to the power of prayer. Lillie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, wearing stylish clothes, flawless makeup, and stylish wigs. Lillie was an avid card player and enjoyed going to the slots, gospel music, coffee all day, and a lively conversation. Lillie was a hard worker, who took care of her children as a single mother without charity. Lillie worked at Fontana nursing home as a C.N.A for 10 years, before accepting a position at Kraft foods as a line worker, where she worked for 35 years. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband Verdell Moore, her parents Vester Williams and James Boyd. Her siblings, Dorothy N. Acree, Mary L. Johnson and Willie Shelby; three daughters, Patricia Holtzclaw, Rhonda Lee, Doretha Boyd and one son Dwight Boyd. Lillie left behind a legacy of love to her children; Debra Robinson and Anthony Moore (Pamela Thomas) of Champaign Il, Dwight Moore of Paducah KY. Lillie loved all of her grandchildren; she left behind 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
