Vick, Li "Laelia"Li "Laelia" Vick, age 34, of Madison, passed away on May 31, 2017. She was born on Aug 24, 1982, the daughter of Yu Chong Ping and Li Ying Qun. She married Joshua Vick in ceremonies in both Guilin, China, on April 27, 2012, and Appleton, WI, on Aug 12, 2012. Laelia graduated from Xi'an University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design. Laelia was an avid photographer and a professionally trained artist. She also owned and operated her own photography studio in Beijing. She enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S., especially visiting state capitol buildings. Her faith in God brought her everlasting comfort and peace. Li is survived by her husband, Josh; and her parents. She is further survived by her father and mother-in-law, Glen and Mary Vick; brother-in-law, Jason Vick; two sisters-in-law, Trina (Dale) Schmoeker and Lisa (Andrew) Holley; three nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at EASTSIDE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2310 Independence Lane, Madison, at 4 p.m. on Sunday June 4, 2017, with the Rev. Nathan Berg presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church.
