LEWIS LAVIOLETTE, 68, of Galesburg Illinois, died Saturday, January 30, 2016. He was born to Lewis, and Mary Anne, February 8, 1947 in Galesburg, Illinois. He married Shelly Hasselbacher in 1991 and they lived together in Galesburg.

Lewis worked for the US Navy until he retired in 1970.

Lewis is survived by 5 children: Kiesha powell, Sheenae Laviolette (Kymbrea Smith), Lewis Laviolette III, Marlon LaViolette, and Adreanna LaViolette. He also is survived by 3 grandchildren.
