Levell Harper Sr., 76, of Edwards, Mississippi, passed Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Levell was born to Willie Earl, and Carrie Mae, June 11, 1941, in Utica, Mississippi.

Levell graduated from Utica high school and received a degree from Jackson State University. He married Erie in 1968, and they lived together in Edwards.

The Harper family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the convalescent nursing home in Vicksburg, specifically those in the Rachel Circle for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Erie’s name to BestHaven Funeral Home.
