Lester Jones was born in Louise Mississippi on March 3, 1951, to the late Roosevelt Jones and the late Lillie Bea Jones. They moved to St. Louis Missori at the age of 5 years old, and was raised their by his parents. He attended Lovertune Elementary school, and he graduated from Overland Technical Ins High school. Lester joined the U.S Navy in 1976 and served until 1986. He moved to Lake Charles Louisiana to work and became a cement finisher. He worked as such until he fell sick. He was a faithful member of Redemption Tabernacle Church and was in training to become a Deacon. He leaves to mourn One sister Oillian Jones, Rodney Morgan, Beanna Bryant, Hellen Edwards, Monica Edwards, Jason Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, and Bradyden Thaxton
