Otto, LeRoyLeRoy H. Otto, age 72 of Shawano (formerly of Suring), passed away on May 7, 2017. LeRoy was born on April 9, 1945 to the late Harry and Leona (Hanson) Otto. He graduated from Suring High School with the Class of 1963. LeRoy served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967. In November 1971, he married Sandra Sell. LeRoy was well known for his work at Ehlinger's Garage and Zahn's Garage, retiring as a mechanic. He was a member of the Suring Sportsman's Club and American Legion Post #283 for 47 years. LeRoy loved to hunt, fish, and watch birds. He was an avid coin collector.Leroy is survived by his son, Robert Otto of Madison; his daughter, Susan Otto of Marinette; 2 sisters, Shirley Shore of Green Bay and Gloria Janskovitch of Billings, Montana; brother, Jeff Otto of Suring. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Otto; sister, Marilyn Gadbois.Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Suring United Methodist Church from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Dan Nault officiating. Military Honors will take place after the service. Interment will take place at a later date. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
