Leroy James, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Savannah Beach, Georgia, United States. He was born on February 28, 1940, to Roy Leonard James and Maria James.

Leroy was married to his loving wife Lee Ann James in 1963 and together they had two children, Debbie Kennedy (spouse Terry Fields) and Delma Williams (spouse Daryl Williams). He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren.

Leroy attended Livingston High School and graduated in 1958. He went on to work for General Motors and retired in 2005.

One of Leroy's greatest passions was fishing. He loved spending time outdoors, especially by the water, with a fishing rod in hand.

Leroy will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his family, and his love for the simple things in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
