With deep sorrow and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Leroy Williams, age 54, who departed this life peacefully on June 11, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family.
Leroy was born on March 16, 1971, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a deeply loving grandfather. A man of strength, wisdom, and quiet integrity, Leroy lived his life as a servant leader — always putting others before himself and walking by faith.
He was the beloved husband of Marcia Williams, his wife and best friend of 27 years. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in love, laughter, and faith. Leroy leaves behind four cherished children: Michael, Jasmine, Devin, and Lauren Williams, and two treasured grandchildren, Aaliyah and Kingston, who brought endless joy to his life.
Leroy was known for his generous heart, his warm smile, and the way he uplifted everyone he met. Whether mentoring young men at the local rec center, serving faithfully at his church, or quietly supporting those in need, he made a lasting impact in the lives of many.
A celebration of Leroy’s life will be held at New Light Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Raymond Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Leroy’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
