Leonard "Lenny" A. Davis JrLeonard "Lenny" A. Davis Jr, age 60,of Harrisonville, MO, formerly from the Green Hill area in Indiana passed away at 8:10pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.He was born on September 22, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana. He was the son of Leonard and Fern(Wagner) Davis.He attended Pine Village School until joining the military where he later received his GED.Lenny served 13 years in the Army Reserves.Lenny worked 23 years for the Indiana Department of Transportation as a supervisor in Lafayette, Indiana before moving to the Kansas City area. He was an over the road Truck Driver after retiring from INDOT.Lenny married Ruth Ann Moore on March 14, 1974 later divorced September 18, 1985, married Rebecca Weiand on August 5, 1990 later divorced October 29, 2003 and married Marsha (Wheeler) Davis on October 10, 2010 whom proceeded him in death on November 6, 2016.Lenny enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling his Yorkie named Angel, hunting, fishing, dirt track racing, and socializing about life itself.He's survived by his mother Fern Davis of Oxford, IN, Daughter Tonya (Jay) Arnold of Lafayette, IN, Son Derrick (Jess)Weiand of Pence, IN, Stepson Russell Barr of San Francisco, CA, Stepdaughters Katherine Hansen of Atchison, KS and Angela Barr of Mission, KS. Four granddaughters Morgan Davis, Amber Spradley, Nova and Ember Butler.Sister Gwen Bolin of West Lafayette, IN, three brothers; Michael Davis of Attica, IN, Jim (Lori) Davis of Pine Village, IN, Greg (Glenda) Davis of Monticello, IN, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Proceeded in death by his father Leonard A. Davis Sr and wife Marsha (Wheeler)Davis.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pavilion behind the Pine Village Fire Department on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 1 to 7 p.m.
