It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leon Uejima, who tragically lost his life on February 23, 2026. He was born on May 7, 2006, in Los Angeles, California, to his loving parents, Jerome and Cynthia.

Leon had a passion for football and spent much of his time on the field, pursuing his love for the sport. He was dedicated and talented, always striving to be the best player he could be.

Despite his young age, Leon had a bright future ahead of him. He was a kind and caring soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious smile and warm personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him. With his accomplishments he leaves his older brother Seth Uejima behind

Leon leaves behind his grieving parents, Jerome and Cynthia, as well as numerous friends and relatives who adored him. While he did not have any children of his own, he was a beloved son and cherished member of his family.

Tragically, Leon's life was cut short by a senseless act of violence. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and he will never be forgotten.
