ROSE HILL-Cziske, Leon"Ski" 78, was called home November 24, 2016. Ski was born on June 24, 1938 in Ringle, WI, to the late Stanley and Anna Cziske. He proudly served in the USAF for 24 years, a veteran of the Vietnam and Cold Wars. He later worked for the state of Kansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gliding and spending time with friends and family. Ski was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and many wonderful things to so many people. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judith (Ron) Bicksacky. Survivors include his wife, Janet Cziske of Rose Hill; daughters Linda Petre and Laurie Glamann (Chris) of Derby, Terri Walker; son, Durrel Cziske (Nancy), all of Rose Hill; brother, Bruce Cziske (Tina) of Milwaukee; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many close longtime friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 4, at Rose Hill Christian Church, 314 N. Rose Hill Rd, Rose Hill, KS, followed by Military Honors at Rose Hill City Hall.
