Yelmene, Leon B.Leon B. Yelmene, 52, Green Bay passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Bellin Memorial Hospital. Leon was born on March 21, 1963 in Manitowoc the son of James and Geraldine (Reedy) Yelmene. He attended Mishicot High School. Leon greatly enjoyed nature and loved to spend time outdoors. He liked to listen to music and had so many different collections. Leon had a heart of gold and a soul to match and cherished his family and all of his many friendships he formed along the way on his journey in life.Leon is survived by his 2 sons Jeremiah and Nathaniel, his mother Geraldine, 1 brother Terry Yelmene, 2 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law Karen (Mark) Flunker, Renee (Kevin) Derenne, his nieces and nephews Kagen, Garrett, Michelle, Kayla, Dalton, Zane. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father James.In honor of Leon's wishes a Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Ravine 2633 Manitowoc Road. A Time of Reflection will be held at 6:00 P.M. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. James Jerzek and the medical "community" of Green Bay for all of their efforts, support and caring manner in which they took care of Leon~ you will never be forgotten.
