Lenore Dewall Loucks1923-2016Dee Loucks passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016 at the age of 93. Dee was born on July 11, 1923 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with BFA in music and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Sigma Alpha Iota honorary music fraternity and Mortar Board. Dee earned a Masters Degree in Music from Northwestern University and for twelve years taught music at St. John's School.Dee had an active life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing piano, tennis and golf, going to the beach, swimming and traveling. She was also an active member of Christ Church Cathedral.Her main concern was being a loving mother and grandmother; always devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by children, Ellen Loucks and husband Wally, Cathy Mullett, Jim Loucks and wife Liz and Susie Loucks; 7 grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, Emily, Philip, Hunter, Cameron and Nevin; 3 great grandchildren Taryn, Charlotte and Anna.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Cathedral chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the www.alz.org.
