On January 15, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Lenora Brown, of Jackson, Mississippi. Born on May 20, 1949, Lenora was the cherished daughter of Collins and Genora Harvey.

Lenora was a devoted partner to Jerome Brown and a loving mother to her six children: Kenosha Johnson, James Moore, Deanna Knox (spouse George), Renita McGowan (spouse James), Christian Washington (spouse Terrence), and Royel Brown (spouse Alexis).

Lenora made a lasting impact during her time working at the V.A. of Jackson, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.

Lenora's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her fierce independence.

Though Lenora may no longer be with us, her memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
