Laverne Mary Jones , 70, passed on March 18, 2023. She was born to Willie Lewis and MaryAnn Lewis in Albany, New York on August 08, 1952.

She married Earl Jones in 1975 and they lived together in Albany, New York. Together they raised 2 children Lisa Barnes , Kennedy Jones . She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Laverne worked at Mount Sinai until she retired in 2013 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
