With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Laurie Anglin, who left this world on July 30, 2025, at the age of 73. Laurie was born on February 8, 1952, in Peoria, Illinois, and lived a life full of laughter, love, and a few good pranks.

Laurie leaves behind two children, William and Nia, who inherited her quick wit and love of mischief. She also leaves behind two adorable grandchildren, who will always remember her as the ultimate playmate and partner in crime.

When she wasn't busy causing chaos with her grandkids, Laurie enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing stories over cups of coffee and indulging in delicious homemade meals. She had a knack for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories and could always be relied upon to bring joy and laughter to any gathering.

Laurie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. We can only imagine the mischief they are getting up to in the afterlife!

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Laurie's memory by sharing a funny story or memory of her with those you love. After all, laughter was always the best gift she could receive.
