Laura Lynn Kolinko ZakPORT CLINTON: Laura Lynn Kolinko Zak, 51, of Catawba Island, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on July 20, 1965 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Richard B. and Linda (Phillips) Kolinko. Laura graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1984 and attened Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Graphic Art. She held various jobs which included working at Holiday Inn Express, Wal-Mart, Menards, Great Wolf Lodge, and African Safari Wildlife Park. Laura enjoyed many activities on Lake Erie. She loved going to the beach, swimming, boating, and visiting the islands. Laura especially enjoyed spending time with her family, many friends and associates. Laura was also an avid animal lover, having several beloved pets over the years. Laura leaves behind her daughter, Emily Nicole Edwards, Port Clinton; father, Richard Kolinko, Catawba Island; sister, Debra Madison, Catawba Island; brother, Michael (Krista) Kolinko, Castalia; nieces Dawn Madison, South Carolina; Ashley Caskie, Port Richey, Florida; and great niece, Lilian J. Madison, Catawba Island. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Kolinko. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 1 pm until a memorial celebration at 2 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio with Reverend Dr. Kurt W.
