Miss Laura Kay Hill, age 66, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Sunday morning, October 16, 2016, at CMC-Union in Monroe, North Carolina.Memorial services to celebrate the life of Laura Hill will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Faulks Baptist Church, 2234 Faulks Church Road, Marshville, North Carolina 28103, officiated by Dr. David Richardson.The family will greet and receive friends following the memorial service. Laura was born on June 18, 1950, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Ruby Brooks Hill of Wingate and the late Craven Hill. She was an executive secretary with Radiator Speciality and formerly worked with USAir. Survivors include her mother, Ruby Brooks Hill of Wingate, North Carolina; her brother, Charles Hill and wife Melissa Hill of Monroe, North Carolina; two nephews, Tyler Hill and Seth Hill, both of Monroe, North Carolina; and a niece, Ashton Hill of Charleston, South Carolina. Memorials may be made to the Faulks Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, C/O Centhia Smith, 1811 Snyder Store Road, Wingate, North Carolina 28174.
