Latisha Lynn GomezOxnard, CALatisha was born on April 7, 1981. Left this world on Sept. 4, 2017The First 14 years of her life she lived in Taft Ca. As a young girl she loved to play Baseball, Soccer, and Basketball. She was known as killer Crane due to the fact that she stood almost a head taller than the boys she played against. She loved lip singing and the movie Dirty Dancing & rollercoasters She moved to Oxnard in 1994 with her mother and sisters. In 2000 her senior year of high school she became a single parent to a daughter Janessa. She still managed to take care of her daughter, work and walk across the stage to receive her diploma from Oxnard High that same year. In 2006 Latisha married Carlos Gomez. Their union created their second child Jose in 2008. Latisha worked many jobs. Swing manager at McDonalds, receptionist for Port Hueneme Ports of Call. Manager at St. Francis BBQ. She was a hard worker and it brought her joy. But the greatest job she loved most was being a mother to her two wonderful children. They loved to go to the beach, camping. Trips to visit family out of town. The last 5 years were very difficult for her. After her separation from her husband she suffered a debilitating auto accident. Her pain was constant. She is survived by her former husband Carlos and their children Janessa and Jose Gomez. Her Parents Flint & Belinda Crane, Toni & Charles Bamer, brother Flint Crane his wife Patti, sister Michele Pine her husband Jason, sister Staci Healy her husband Tim, sister Leah Middleton her husband Brian.
