SidneyLarry Wayne Dudley, 68, husband of Kay (Brown) Dudley of 32 James Crawford Lane, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.Mr. Dudley was born on January 4, 1949 in Covington, Virginia, a son of the late Melvin James and Elizabeth (Horsley) Dudley.Larry was a member of Spring Hill Presbyterian Church and was retired from A.M.P. as a computer engineer. He was a member of the Staunton Jaycees and the Recycling Committee of Augusta County. Mr. Dudley enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-six years, is a daughter, Lisa Ann Dudley; a very special grandson, Jonathan Tyler Dudley of Mt. Sidney; a Godson, William Wright of Staunton; and devoted friends, David Miller and Forester Wright, Jr.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.A Celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Lilley.Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.Active pallbearers will be Arnold Brown, Eugene Hodge, Dave Miller, Bill Armstrong, Forester Wright, Jr., Mark Hodge, Matt Surratt, and Jamie Brown.The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the doctors and staff at Augusta Health and ICU Unit for the care given to Larry during his illness.Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.coffmanfuneralhome.net.
