We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Larry Murdock, also known as "Big Larry," who passed away on December 6, 2025, in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Larry was born on July 28, 1976, to his proud parents Larry and Frankie Murdock. He leaves behind his three children Darrin, Ajara, and Nicole, who will carry on his legacy of dad jokes and love for baseball.

Larry attended John Marshall High School, where he honed his skills on the baseball field and graduated in 1994. He was known for his impressive swing and ability to charm his way out of any sticky situation.

In his free time, Larry could often be found watching baseball games, arguing with the umpire from his couch, or teaching his grandchildren the finer points of the game.

Although Larry is no longer with us, his witty sense of humor and love for his family will live on in the memories of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Big Larry. You will be missed.
