Larry Miller, 88, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on February 1, 2025. Born on August 1, 1936, Larry was a beloved member of the community. He lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. Larry was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering positivity. He was a dedicated friend, always there to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.

Larry graduated from Ball State University in 1964 and taught business at Jackson Township School for five years before spending a year at Indiana University Bloomington to complete a Master's Degree in School Psychology. He worked at the School City of Hammond, The Porter County Special Education Cooperative, and retired from the Northwest Indiana Special Education Cooperative as a School Psychologist in Hobart.

Larry was a kind and dedicated teacher who helped organize the Special Education preschool in Porter County.
