Larry Don Holt, age 67, passed away on January 19, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Riverside, CA after a brief battle with cancer.  He was born August 30, 1952 in Bakersfield, California, to James and Mildred (Thomas) Holt, who preceded him in death. 
Larry loved to work and was fortunate to excel in three careers during his lifetime as meat cutter, Arrowhead Water salesman, and finally telecommunications technician supervisor. In his later years, Larry enjoyed tinkering with computers, riding his horses, Susie and Harlan, and gardening.
Larry loved his family and friends and was known for always being happy to help anyone that needed it, doing anything from moving furniture to cooking meals.  He will be especially remembered for generously preparing and providing food during times of fun and celebration as well as times of heartache and need.
Larry was married to Louise Virginia Putnam in 1980, who survives him.  He is also survived by his five children: David Holt and his wife, Nathaly, Peter Holt, Christopher Holt and his wife, Mikelynn, Jesscia Hallett, and Eighmie Mathers and her husband, Rodney; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister: Jimmy Wayne Holt and Cassandra Durst; a host of nieces and nephews (some related, some not) and many other beloved friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm noon on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 11150 Collett Ave, Riverside, CA.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at [email protected].
