A Life Gone Too Soon

On October 3, 2025, we lost a beloved member of our community, Larry Bright of Susanville, California due to the strenuous fight of Kidney Failure. Born on February 17, 1948, to William and Lordean Bright, Larry being the oldest of his siblings. Larry lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends who were always there for him.

Larry is survived by his last daughter, Laquita Kiplinger. Larry’s two other children’s, Webster Kiplinger, and Clint Bright have passed away due to other circumstances. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren whom he loved and cherished dearly.

Larry attended Brandon Senior High School and graduated in 1966. He was known for his love of collecting guns, fishing, and hunting wild animals. He wasn’t always the one that sat in the front row but was always the one to get a light hearted laugh out of people.

Despite his hobbies, Larry was a kind-hearted soul who always had a smile on his face. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

On behalf of his family and friends, we say goodbye to Larry as he embarks on his next adventure. Rest in peace, Larry Bright.
