We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Larry Damon, who passed away on February 19, 2025, in Gastonia, North Carolina, United States. Larry was born on August 7, 1948, to his loving parents Harry and Sheila Damon.

In 1985, Larry married the love of his life, Martha Damon, and together they raised three wonderful children: Will, Carnell, and Tim. Larry was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren.

Larry attended Tiller High School and graduated in 1967. He later went on to work at Sonoma, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2000. In his free time, Larry was an active member of the VFW organization and was recognized for his role as a Safety Inspector/Chairman Union.

Before his retirement, Larry served in the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the Army Seal unit for 12 years. He was truly dedicated to his country and his service will never be forgotten.

Outside of work, Larry enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, bowling, and playing music. He brought joy and laughter to all those around him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Larry. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
