Burial will follow at the Cross Plains Cemetery in Cross Plains.Larry was born on July 23, 1953 in Brownwood, TX, to late Cleve Waylon and Edna Mae Stuart-Carey. He was a Registered Dietician. He worked at the Texas State School for 15 years. He showed chickens at competitions and fairs. He was an active member at his church The Sanctuary of Abilene.Larry is survived by his son, Dale Carey and wife, Kim of Abilene; daughters, D'Ann Carey and husband Robert Blake of Clyde; Danna Carey of Merkel; grandson, Kordell Carey; mother, Edna Carey; brother, Rickey Carey and wife, Sandra of Cross Plains; sisters, Donna Carey of Brownwood; Brenda Traylor and husband, Sherman of Coleman; nephews and cousins.
