Larry Belton, born on October 24, 1949, in Akron City, Ohio, United States, passed away on September 14, 2025. He was a beloved husband to Emma Belton and a devoted father to Larry Belton Jr and John Belton.
Larry was a proud graduate of West High School, where he completed his education in 1967. He went on to work at Goodyear and dedicated his time to helping in the Akron Peewee League organization. Larry also served in the Air Force as a Captain in the 77th Fighter Squadron unit for 13 years.
One of Larry's passions was coaching football, where he shared his knowledge and love for the sport with many young athletes. He was a mentor and a leader, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
On September 14, 2025, Larry Belton passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. His legacy lives on through his loving family, including his wife, children, and four grandchildren. Larry will be remembered for his strength, dedication, and unwavering love for his family.
