It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Belton, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Larry was born on October 24, 1949, in Akron City, Ohio to his parents Larry Sr and Martha Reck. He married the love of his life, Mary Belton, in 1946 and together they raised two wonderful children, Larry Belton 3rd and Wendy Townsend.

Larry was a proud graduate of West High High School and went on to have a successful career at Goodyear, eventually retiring in 2040. In his free time, he enjoyed coaching football and giving back to his community through his involvement in the Pee-wee football league organization.

Not only was Larry a dedicated family man and hard worker, he also served his country in the Air Force as a Captain. His sense of duty and honor will always be remembered by those who knew him.

Unfortunately, Larry's battle with cancer came to an end on September 14, 2025. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the vibrant and humorous spirit that Larry brought to all of our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
