Larry Freddie Thompson, 72, passed on April 24, 2022. He was born to Freddie W. Thompson and Mary B. Henton in Chicago, Illinois on January 13, 1950.

Together they raised 4 children Benny C. Thompson, Lisabeth D. Thompson (William R. Givens), Tommy F. Thompson (Pamela V. Seal), Henry A. Thompson. He is also survived by 15, grandchildren, 32 Great grandchildren and a host of family members and friends.

Larry graduated from Nicholas Senn High School in 1968 and received a degree from the Chicago State University in 1972.

Larry worked at Office Assistant for Metropolitan Family Services and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. He also volunteered at the Salem Baptist Church in 1990. In 1995, Larry was honored with the Deacon Ordination in Salem Baptist Church.
