LaRick Byrd, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on October 26, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on July 8, 1956 to Dorthy Ross and Charles Byrd, LaRick was a loving parent to Tysha Bowers (spouse Anthony Bowers), Tamika Byrd, Mark Carter, Ricky Carter, and Chad Byrd.

LaRick was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1975, and continued his education at Temple University. He had a successful career and was known for his sense of humor and infectious laugh.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. LaRick is survived by his children and two grandchildren.
