Langston Butler of Baltimore City, Maryland passed away on January 2, 2026, after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 28, 1948, to Rudolph Butler and Erma Gross (Hamm).

Langston attended Frederick Douglass high school and graduated in 1968. He had a passion for drawing, listening to music, and watching movies.

Although Langston had no children of his own, he leaves to mourn his three sisters, Vernetta, Cora, and Alisha. His brother Malcolm, two nieces Demetria and Malshauna, two nephews, William and Malcolm III, and loving aunt Debra. Langston touched the lives of many with his creativity and sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
