Lameek Akins, born on August 22, 1994, in Bronx, New York, passed away on February 5, 2013.

He was the beloved child of Herbert and Tasha Akins. Lameek did not have any children of his own but was a loving son to his parents. He left a sister and a brother and a niece.

He attended Evander Child High School where he excelled academically and was known for his passion for fixing things and putting them back together.

Tragically, Lameek was shot and his life was taken far too soon. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who remember him as a kind-hearted and determined individual.
