Lamar Swanson, beloved husband, father, and golfer, passed away on February 1st, 2026 in a tragic head-on collision. He was born on June 10th, 1980 in Jack, Mississippi to his parents Tommy and Rashida Swanson.

Lamar married his high school sweetheart Tomeka in the year 2006, and together they had two wonderful children, Asia and Ashanti Swanson.

When Lamar wasn't spending time with his family, he could be found on the golf course, enjoying his favorite hobby.

Lamar will be remembered for his infectious smile, his love for his family, and his passion for golf. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
