Kurt Allen Redington, born November 28, 1961, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2025, at Jefferson Presbyterian Hospital in North Philadelphia. Kurt was a devoted husband, father, mentor, and community leader whose quiet strength and generous spirit touched all who knew him.

He worked faithfully in the church and shared his love of sports as a baseball coach, inspiring countless young athletes. Together with his wife Nancy, Kurt was a foster parent for 37 years, providing a loving and stable home for children in need. He dedicated countless hours to volunteering and other acts of service, leaving a lasting impact on his community.

Kurt is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, and his children Sara Keptner, Adelina James, and Kurtis Redington, as well as foster children Saizanna Redmond and Alania Lamb.

Kurt will be remembered for his warmth, humor, unwavering compassion, and the deep love he had for his family and community. His legacy of service and care will continue to inspire all who knew him.
