We are saddened to announce the passing of Kira Cyrus, who was born on May 2, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, United States, to Emory and Thelma Harper. Kira passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving husband Mitchell Cyrus, whom she married in 1958, and their son Mitchell Cyrus Jr. Kira also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Kira attended Roswell High School and graduated in 1953. She dedicated her career to education, working at RL Thornton Elementary School until her retirement in 2000. Kira had a passion for helping animals and was actively involved in the ASPCA organization.

In her free time, Kira enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Kira Cyrus passed away from natural causes, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
