Kimberly Barnes, also known affectionately as Kimmy, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2025, in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She was born on February 29, 1984, and was the beloved daughter of Donnie Barnes and Edith Lane. With the remaining siblings of Devon Colon, Jenny Barnes, Alieka Barnes and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Kimmy was a proud Army Veteran who served as an Officer, dedicating her life to protecting her country. When she wasn't busy serving her country, Kimmy enjoyed spending her free time hiking through the beautiful landscapes of Florida.

Although she had no children of her own, Kimmy touched the lives of many with her infectious laughter and kind spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

May she rest in peace, forever remembered for her bravery, sense of adventure, and warm heart.
