Kimberly Comer High, beloved resident of Luray, Virginia, passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born on October 27, 1965, and lived her life to the fullest with a contagious smile and a kind heart.
Kimberly was known for her love of all things purple, her passion for baking the most delicious pies in town.
In her younger years, Kimberly was a force to be reckoned with on the cheerleading squad . Lead as captain for 3 years straight. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother to her two children, Denny High and Megan Downey, also two grandkids, Hayven Downey and Damien Downey. who she loved with a blend of humor, wisdom, kindness and a huge heart.
Kimberly leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and the entire community.
Rest in peace, Kimberly. May your spirit live on in the sweet memories and warm smiles you leave behind.
There will be no viewing or funeral. She will be cremated and close family and friends will hold a memorial at her home on Wednesday, June 10th all day.
