We are saddened to announce the passing of Kim Mines, who left this world on October 21, 2025, at the age of 56. Kim was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 11, 1969, to proud parents Mike and Sarah Mines.

Kim is survived by their loving partner John Mines, and their five children: Josh Mines, Rebecca Mines, John Mines Jr., Tim Mines, and Chris Mines. They were also blessed with eight grandchildren.

Kim was a dedicated Register Nurse who touched the lives of many with their compassionate care. They studied at Romulus High School before graduating and pursuing further education at Henry Ford.

Besides their work, Kim's greatest joy came from spending time with their family, especially when cooking meals together. They will be remembered for their delicious dishes and warm hospitality.

Kim fought a brave battle with brain cancer, showing incredible strength and resilience throughout their journey. Their memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.

Rest in peace, Kim Mines. You will be deeply missed.
